Patch: Files1 or File2 or File3

Cái đĩa này mình có từ năm 2005, lúc đó trong đĩa k0 có fix gì hết. Sau khi cài thì gặp 1 số vấn đề, ví dụ như vấn đề về quicktime plugin, vì trên máy mình cài quicktime 7 mà OALD nó lại chạy tốt với quicktime 6, nhưng k0 tương thích với quicktime 7. Sau đó mình lên trang web của cái cuốn từ điển này, đọc phần FAQ thì thấy nó cho down fix cho mấy lỗi này, sau khi fix thì chạy tốt. Các bạn có thể thử down về fix xem sao: Fix

Instructions:
1. Install QuickTime 7.
2. Mount the image file (use Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%), install OALCD7.
3. Place this patch package into the program folder then unrar it.
4. Double-click on oald7.exe and enjoy the excellent dictionary! :-c

Các bạn download về giải nén ra file ISO. Cần mount file ISO lên đĩa ảo DAEMON (sẽ được hướng dẫn ở cuối bài) để cài đặt. Chọn chế độ cài đặt là Standard, cần khoảng 600 MB dung lượng còn trống trên ổ đĩa. Không nên thay đổi đường dẫn mặc định. Sau khi cài xong, bạn nhớ cài thêm QUICKFind (bắt buộc) khi được yêu cầu. Sau khi cài đặt xong, khoan chạy MED2 đã.

Mặc dầu MED2 đã được bẻ khóa rồi (tỷ lệ thành công 100%) nhưng trước khi chạy chúng ta hãy update bản mới nhất cho nó từ 2.0 lên 2.1 luôn. Windows Vista chạy được MED2 phiên bản 2.1 thôi. Download update tại: (link trực tiếp)

LƯU Ý:
Theo kinh nghiệm của tác giả, thì việc cài đặt chắc chắn ít nhiều sẽ bị ảnh hưởng bởi các chương trình quản lý và diệt vi-rút hiện ny vì việc cài đặt đòi hỏi quyền truy cập cao nhất (Administrator) cũng như chương trình có một số module mà các chương trình chống vi-rút sẽ liệt kê vào danh sách “đặc biệt cần quan tâm”. Vì vậy để cài đặt được suôn sẻ, đối với các bạn không rành nhiều về máy tính thì các bạn hãy tạm thời ngắt kết nối mạng nếu có và tạm tắt chương trình diệt vi-rút sau khi cài đặt xong thì sẽ mở lên lại. Đối với các bạn chuyên nghiệp hơn thì các bạn đã biết rồi, hãy hướng dẫn chương trình diệt vi-rút của mình cho phép chương trình LDOCE4 thực hiện lệnh cài đặt, ghi chép vào hệ thống những module tối quan trọng và những thay đổi cần thiết phải có để hoàn thành quá trình cài đặt.

Đối với các bạn sử dụng Kaspersky, các bạn sẽ gặp thông báo lỗi không thể chạy được chương trình chính LDOCE4. Để khắc phục tình trạng này, các bạn hãy download tập tin sửa lỗi tại:
